Hailing out of Athens,
Georgia Theocracy are one of the most promising new bands in the
Christian metal scene. Well, band is a bit of an exaggeration, because
so far it is only a one man project by Matt Smith.
Like their first album,
MMLT captures the entire gambit of emotions, from the exuberance of
worship (Dancing in Concert...) to struggles with sin (Circle of Pain,
Regret) to despair (Doubt). The album is not quite as good as
Srugglefish, but its a great addition to any collection.
